In order to complete the consular registration, citizens of the Republic of Moldova reisiding on a permanent or temporary basis (more than 90 days) in the United States of America and Canada have to present to the Embassy of Moldova the following items:
1.  Passport (in original);

2.  A filled application form (in romanian);

3.  One passport-sized colour photo;

4.  Fee payed by “Money order” or “Company check” on the name of the Embassy of Moldova:
-  US $ 60 for citizens residing in the US on a permanent basis;
-  US $ 30 for citieznes residing in the US on a temporary basis for a period of more than 90 days;
Note: Personal cheks and cash are not accepted.

5.  A self-addressed, pre-paid envolope.
Note: The Embassy recommends to use the following mail services: Express Mail, Priority Mail, Certified Mail, Registered Mail, UPS, Airborne Express, DHL. The Embassy of Moldova does not hold responsability for the loss of documents, cauzed by the mail services.

The processing time is of 7 buisness days. In order to process the request in a rush regime (24 hours) an additional fee of 25$ is charged.
